Wedding Guest Book

One of my dear friends from home got married two weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to get them for a present, so, I gave them a heads up and made them a guestbook. While printing in such a large format was a little stressful (being the perfectionist that I am), it was a really great project, and turned out really well, if I do say so myself. Definitely a template I plan to keep and reuse!

Oh, and I started exploring the medium of ribbon for this project a bit too. Turns out I really like how it looks!

Missionary Books

So, my super thoughtful and creative sister enlisted my help for a gift she wanted to do for two of her friends who are leaving on missions. I was able to find the perfect cover papers, and also figured out the whole printing for a bound book thing. It was a really fun project! Sorry the text pictures are blurry, but, since you can't tell, one side is the testimony of a family member, the other is the Spanish translation, as he is going Spanish-speaking. I only wish we had thought of this before my brother left on his mission. Oh well, I can bind his letters when he comes home. That will be a fun record of his mission, I think.

Books for Babies and Kids

Here are a few books I made for friends as baby shower gifts and one (the alphabet one) I made for my friend's nephew. Enjoy!

50th Birthday Book

This is a book I made for my mom when she turned 50 this past year. It is definitely one of my favorite books I have ever made! I hope you enjoy it!

Christmas Journals

This year for Christmas presents, I decided to make journals for each member of my family.

This one was for my Dad. I loved the red accents and the multi-colored eyelets. The quote reads "My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it."

This one was for my Mom. The bright flowers were so awesome. The quote reads, "Where we love is home, Home that our feet may leave, But not our hearts."

This one was for my Sister. Light blue and brown is one of my favorite color schemes. The quote reads, "The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique."

An Old Journal

This is a journal I created quite awhile ago. As you can see by the edges, it is well-loved. I liked the color scheme for this one, and the different binding lengths. I cut the butterfly from a different section of the paper that just wouldn't fit otherwise because it was too close to the edge.
